Installing fonts
Every font here is free to download and machine-tested for the languages it supports. Once you have the file, installing it takes about a minute. Choose your device below.
Windows
- 1Download the font. If it arrived as a .zip, right-click the folder and choose Extract All.
- 2Right-click the .ttf or .otf file and choose Install (or Install for all users).
- 3Prefer the Settings app? Open Settings → Personalisation → Fonts and drag the file into the window.
- 4The font is now available in Word, Photoshop, and every other app.
macOS
- 1Download the font and unzip it if needed.
- 2Double-click the .ttf or .otf file to open it in Font Book.
- 3Click Install Font.
- 4The font is ready in Pages, Photoshop, and all your apps.
Android
- 1Download the font file to your phone.
- 2Support varies by brand: some phones add fonts under Settings → Display → Font.
- 3On most phones you'll need a font-installer app (for example iFont) to load a custom .ttf.
- 4Follow the app's instructions, then select the font in your theme or display settings.
iOS (iPhone & iPad)
- 1Download the font file to your device.
- 2Install a font app such as AnyFont from the App Store.
- 3Open the file inside the app and install its configuration profile.
- 4Approve the profile in Settings → General → VPN & Device Management, then find the font under Settings → General → Fonts.
Adobe Photoshop
- 1Install the font in your operating system first (see Windows or macOS above).
- 2Quit Photoshop and reopen it so it reloads the font list.
- 3Select the Type tool and pick the font from the font menu.
- 4Tip: for Kurdish and Arabic text, enable Middle Eastern text features in Preferences → Type.
